Multidisciplinary artist Helenya Apostolou creates light-reactive paintings, prints and drawings which move and change with different coloured lights. Based in the UK, she graduated with a BA in Fine Art in 2021 and has exhibited work internationally. Her art bridges the gap between movement and stillness, using colour-theory to create an immersive viewing experience and vibrant artwork that stands out in daylight too.

Different images and meanings fade in and out of clarity on a slower lighting sequence, so that layers can be observed individually while three different time-frames coexist on one surface.
